The 2018 Venice Carnival took place from 27 January to 13 February.

I was fortunate enough to visit on 7 and 8 February.  Just me and my two cameras in

St Mark's Square and the nearby canals and backstreets.

I was able to photograph so many wonderful costumes against the beautiful backdrop of the buildings and water all around. I'm grateful to everyone who was happy to pose for photos.
